Life is good when work and rest is match, especially in winter. This week, I have free day after work so I spent time at Ko Lan (Pattaya) before go back to Bangkok. This trip suppose to be short and low-cost because I can safe money from flying to the South of Thailand.
Normally I am Andaman lover because I think it is more beautiful. But one night at Ko Lan make me feel very happy and fun, the place is nice and there are so many activities there. I feel a lot better that I choose the right place at the right time @^_^@ I enjoy travelling around the island with motorbike, having seafood, reading at the beach chair and swimming. Now all my body is burnt from the sun, I turn myself to the black seal @^_^@
Have a nice day.

Walk around Wat Phra Keaw, Say hello to the friend around the base of Chedi.
Looking for the Emerald Buddha.
Enter the Grand Palace compound and stop by "Phra Thinang Chakri Maha Prasat".
Leave the Grand Palace and went to Wat Phrachetuphon Vimon Mangkararam Ratchaworamahawihan (Wat Pho). Worship the gigantic gold plated reclining buddha, very very huge. What about gold price now?
Walk around Wat Pho, now I've lost 10 pound already.
Went to "The City Pillar Shrine".
In front of "The City Pillar Shrine".
At the side wall of "Ministry of Defence". Many movies and MVs took from here.

I have 1 week left to work at Cadbury project then I will be free again. I am not sure this is luck or out of luck to unemployed during economic crisis. But look in the good way, I will have time to rest and travel during high season in Thailand. I plan not to accept full-time job at least 3 months to spend time with parent and for myself till the end of the year.
Actually I didn't work much this year but I feel like I lost all of my energy already. I don't think I am old, but why half of my hair is gray. The baber tell me to dye my hair everytime I do haircut : (
I miss travelling around a lot, the problem is I may have no one to go with : (
Have a nice day.

Dear everyone
I work at Cadbury Adams (Thailand) project for one week. Driving almost 80 KMs a day did not hard as I first thought. I spent only 45 - 60 minutes in the morning from my apartment to the client's plant, traffic out of city in the morning is quite smooth. Actually I don't work with FMCG business much, but my area of responsibility is financial accounting system, so it quite the same in every business.
I take a plant tour on Friday to see client's manufacturing process, it is very interesting and fun to see how they produce candy and chewing gum. Actually I don't eat candy and gum at all, but client always give us the finished product so I try a lot of export and local product everyday. I think after this project end, I will have problem with my teeth and my weight.Have a nice day.

Now I am reviewing documents relevant to my new assignment. I will start working with new assignment next week, it just 6 weeks long assignment. The problem is client's site located at Lardkrabank industrial zone, so I have to drive almost 40 KMs from home to there, 80 KMs back and forth . Actually I don't do this, I always work with client near my home. Anyway, this client's business is very interesting and it's only 6 weeks.
I didn't do anything much during 1 month break, but I still inject money to many local travel places from time to time such as Museum, float market and so on. My almost activity is to enjoy having food, so I gain some weight again @^_^@
Have a nice day.

Due to Geocities will close their free web service soon, so I change to update my story at Google Blog. Lucky that there still has free thing in this World, otherwise my story will send to you via plain text e-mail.
I officially released from PTTCHEM project after 1 month support and close April accounting book. Client (user and IT) can work on their own, any issues will be solved follow their regular support process. If count by month, I spend 1 year in this project. This is the longest project I ever work with since I am a free lancer. I learn a lot from this project, I think more than what I contribute. Experience here make me a better consultant.
It's time to plan for the next step, vacation or new project (stay still or work). I still have plenty of time to think about it. Nothing better than keep in touch with old friends, taking care of family and rest @^_^@
Have a nice day.

I will release from my current project next week after April month-end closing support. It's time to have a big break although I always have a small break almost every week. Work as part-time let me have some slot to travel during working day, travel in Summer is my favorite. I love sunshine and outdoor activity so much. Travel in this time is good for our country, every dollar we spend will help our people. But to avoid any risk from economic crisis, I should looking for the new assignment soon. Otherwise I will have no more money to travel in Winter.
I think I have at least one month break, you can recommend interesting travel place or activity to me. But I don't think there is so much place to go during Rainy season. Or you can have lunch or dinner with me some day.
Have a nice day.

Happy Thai New Year 2009, I wish you to have a very good time celebrating Songkran with your family, friends and others. Splash yourself with fun among the messy situation. To escape from the political chaos, I didn't stay in Bangkok during Songkran. Not the whole Songkran, only for the risk moment. I think my decision was right. Why I have to afraid of living in the dangerous situation while I can pamper myself at some place else.
There still has a lot of interesting places wait for us to visit. The problem is, it cost me too much to travel during high season. I expect more discount than this because Government promote a lot to Thai people to travel inside our country. But the air fare, hotel, car rental still expensive. I feel like it is the foreigner rate. How can I travel more often if the cost still high? Anyway, I will help our people by spend money on tourism industry till I ran out of budget : )
Have a nice day.

I still survive in the midst of economic crisis, happy with the job and living. Everything is not too good but not too bad. Nothing to worry about financial and political situation. I think I really worry about my weight more than the other thing. Last month, I have University reunion, most I heard from my friend is about why I got bigger like this : ( When I was graduated, my weight is only 47 kilograms. Ten year later, my weight is now 47 ton : )
My project is now entering go-live phase, we are busy with month-end closing activities to head to data conversion. After complete data conversion, I will spend 1 month to support client. So I will be free on May 15 onward. I don't have any job offer right now, so I may starve and my weight will reduce automatically @^_^@
Have a nice day.

I back to work at PTTCHEM project again since mid-February, this time I work as part-time consultant to deliver the rest tasks such as data conversion and go-live support. So my vacation is over faster than plan. I still have so many thing to do before going to work again but all plan is changed. Working is not the bad idea during the economic crisis like this. I saw bank interest rate is reduce three times this year. Three years ago, I still get 5 % from fix account. Now it is only 1.25% and has a sign to lower than this. Stock market is going worse also. Please be careful about the investment now.
Hope you still OK with your job, your company and your investment.
Have a nice day.

I've just finished reading "The Last Lecture", the story of Randy Pausch" who passed away from pancreatic cancer. He lectures this at Carnegie Mellon University with the same principle of his book. I should read it since I bought it a year ago if I know the content inside. If you are now finding the good book to read, I recommend this one.
The weather in Bangkok is quite warm now. It will be better to escape from Bangkok and travel at the beach somewhere (Pena colada, Bikini, Seafood, ...). I just went to the North of Thailand to visit my cousin. I spent most time in the mountain, so I live with 15 C in average. I still have plan to visit my relatives at Phuket, now I am preparing my bathing suit @^_^@
Have a nice day.

I just released from the project last week. I've already delivered what I commit to the project and the client. I gain a lot of knowledge from my colleagues and clients. The problem is, I work with this project 7 months, and I gain 7 kilograms. If I work here longer, I may transform myself to big balloon.
What should I do next, read, rest, travel or work? I think this is the good time to read and workout. I have plenty of books to read, actually I bought them since book fair last year but hardly have time to look at. To finish all of them, I may have to spend 3 months or more. And if I want to loose 10 kilograms, I need at least 10 years @^_^@
Due to I didn't travel much last year because of work, so there is not much travel pictures to share. You can see follow linked below. Hope I can travel more this year.
